Kosciuszko National Park proudly hosts Australia's highest peak, Mt Kosciuszko, and our adventure begins in Thredbo. On this expedition, we'll traverse the stunning terrain, equipped with snowshoes and sporting our shorts.

Our scenic route will lead us past rugged granite outcrops and snow-draped mountain peaks, guiding us across the headwaters of the Snowy River, just above Australia's highest lake, enroute to Rawsons Pass. From there, we'll embark on a gradual ascent to the summit, where we'll stand at an impressive 2,228 meters above sea level.

Important Note: While we aim to reach the Mt Kosciuszko Summit, please be aware that summitting is subject to certain conditions and is not guaranteed. (See Important Information below for more details).

Prepare to be enchanted by the allure of Blue Lake, one of Australia's rare glacial lakes, as we embark on a hike that stands among the finest in the country.

This 10-kilometer return journey leads us through picturesque snow gum forests, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience. Our path winds upward, guiding us to the sparkling gem that is Blue Lake, nestled amidst the rugged hills of Mt Kosciuszko National Park.
